Hey, you know what's super awkward? EVERYTHING!
But what is particularly awkward is when you're standing on platform 9 and 3 quarters and you run straight at the barrier between platforms 9 and 10 and the barrier has sealed itself shut!!!!! And you can't get through!!!! You just crash straight into the wall and the security guard tells you to watch where you're going and you hang your head in shame and say "sorry, lost control of the trolley". And your owl goes crashing to the ground and everyone around you thinks you are crazy and an animal abuser. SO AWKWARD.
But really. What's awkward is when you're standing on the platform at lougheed skytrain station and an old lady standing near you comes over and points to the person near you and says in a loud voice "is that a boy or a girl???" and you just smile as if smiling will make you disappear into thin air, as if smiling really big will save you from the awkward and say through your teeth "I think that's definitely a girl". And the old lady says "wow, I couldn't tell!" And you say "yup" through your teeth, still smiling and staring straight ahead.
And the whole time you are just praying that the girl didn't hear any of this because that would be extremely..
AWKWARD.
